Today we are going to do a task about a country which is also a continent and an island. The people speak English. For us it’s far away. There are “strange animals”like a wallaby and a crocodile. Which country is this?

Task 2:   What is the missing word?

  1. Uluru (or ayers rock) is a giant ………………………………. In the middle of Australia.
  2. It is a small animal which you can find in australia and looks like a kangaroo.
  3. This is a big building where you can go to hear people sing. But not a normal popband, this building is made especially for opera.
  4. Trees are much bigger here than in normal woods.
  5. This is the world’s largest reef. Where you can see all sorts of different coral, fish, sharks, turtles and dolphins.
  6. The first people who lived in Australia.
